PLDT and Smart Partner with Grab for Fast Delivery of Internet Products to Homes in The New Normal

PLDT-Smart, the country's largest telecommunications network and digital service provider, has just partnered with Grab - a leading superapp for transportation, shopping, food, and delivery - for the swift delivery of internet devices to Filipino homes in the new normal.
As online learning and work-from-home arrangement become a part of the way we do things moving forward, PLDT-Smart continues its efforts to pivot more towards online-driven services and boost its already significant digital presence. The MVP company's landmark tie-up with Grab reinforces the two company's shared vision of further empowering the South East Asian region through technology.
Under this partnership, PLDT-Smart and Grab will provide Filipino consumers with various online channels through which we can conveniently purchase PLDT Home and Smart products and have the items delivered straight to our homes within 24 hours.
Starting on June 8, 2020, customers residing in the Greater Metro Manila area can order PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid units Powered by Smart LTE through PLDT Home website and have their units delivered to their homes through the Grab Express delivery service. Purchases can be done through debit or credit card for cashless delivery or even cash-on-delivery.
Aside from that, PLDT Home and Smart products are now available at the new GrabMart, a shopping-plus-delivery solution that's available within the Grab application.
For instance, when you look for "PLDT Home WiFi" in GrabMart, it will automatically forward you to a store nearest you from which the Grab delivery will be made. Currently, this useful internet device from PLDT sells for only PHP 995.
In line with this partnership, Smart Communications will also allow instant loading of Smart Prepaid accounts through the Grab application using the GrabPay wallet. Smart Prepaid subscribers can conveniently buy load or mobile data packages with a minimum amount of PHP 50 using their own number. They may also do this for family and friends via the app.
